My husband recently shared a video with me that made me laugh almost uncontrollably.  It’s one of those videos on YouTube that would have been on America’s Funniest Home Videos and won the grand prize 10 years ago if it wasn’t for YouTube and the potential to make millions now a days.  Isn’t the internet wonderful?  It can make someone famous almost overnight.

If you haven’t guessed already, I’m talking about the “David After Dentist” (D.A.D) video.  It had almost 3 million views within a week after uploading it!  That just boggles my mind.  If you haven’t seen it yet, you don’t know what you’re missing.

D.A.D was uploaded January 2009 and a year later had made $150,000.  Today, the video has over 100 million views and it’s own website that sells t-shirts and stickers www.davidafterdentist.com.  David’s father has quit his job in the real estate business to run the D.A.D business.  Read more

After hearing this story, I decided to start our own YouTube channel.  I figured, what’s the harm in trying?  Right?  Maybe one of our videos will go viral!  Then we can pay off all our debt!  How great would that be?
