Tax season is upon us now that the holidays are over, and I for one love tax season.  My husband makes a moderate income.  And, now that we have four children (as of December 7th), we’ll be getting an additional child tax credit this year.  Of course, that’s not why we continue having children.  It’s just a perk!

We’re glad they’ve extended the $1000 per child tax credit this year.  So, we should be getting a nice check in the mail from both federal and state.  It should be enough to pay off one full credit card balance!  That’s why I love tax season.  Time to pay off some debt!

We always have a tax professional file our taxes to make sure we’re not missing any deductions or credits.  We feel it is well worth it to pay a tax professional when handling our tax preparations.
